Where has the time gone!
The first two months of the year have been a blur; but there’s a real excitement about what’s ahead at Dragon Drop this year.
Front of house
Two weeks ago, four of us visited Victory HRG at their head office in Bell Works. Good development is always about people, but bespoke development has to be about people. Seeing our hand-crafted pages in action was a great moment for the team—real-world usage is the best kind of validation. We’re now working through the feedback to refine the experience and make day-to-day tasks smoother and more enjoyable for their team.
From the Kitchen
Lately, we’ve been thinking about how different development approaches suit different challenges. Day-to-day enhancements and maintenance require one mindset; tackling larger, strategic shifts for clients demands another. How do we balance both effectively? It’s an ongoing question.
What we’ve been watching and reading
- Harper Reed’s post on his current LLM codegen workflow was an insightful read—we’re already experimenting with some of his ideas.
- That post led us to pick up Co-Intelligence: Living and Working With AI by Ethan Mollick. Looking forward to seeing how it informs our work.
